Oh my goodness! I have been so busy lately with all the new goals I have set for my quilting business. I have a new pattern and new classes in the works, and I just added Pro-Stitcher to my Amara. The possibilities are seemingly endless.
So here is the skinny on the progress:
I have ideas for two classes to hold in the near future.
Wonky Charms is a class designed for two novice quilters (even complete beginners). It is a lap sized quilt made with a charm pack and yardage. I will have pictures and dates up in the near future, so find that sewing partner and learn to piece a quilt together. Mother/Child, Grands, Friends, Couples--you just need two people.
Buttons and Bows is a bench pillow. We will make the entire pillow cover in one day. It will look lovely on your porch, bed, couch, or...bench!
My Pro-Stitcher has arrived and been installed. I am watching videos and working
on learning the program as quickly as possible. Next week I will have in person training with Cheri Lewis, owner of All in Stitches in New Florence, Missouri. She is a Handi-Quilter dealer and a wealth of knowledge. I cannot wait to get this training and get started.
This means that I will be advertising my new hours and quilting services more loudly very soon. I will be offering free motion quilting, pantograph quilting, and computerized E2E and custom quilting on my HQ Amara.
I have a new quilt pattern I am working on. It will be released for purchase in the
fall of 2022. Watch for sneak peeks in the coming weeks.
This means that I am slowly setting up shop on this website!
