The Color of Quilts

It has been a while!! Please forgive me for being lax in my posting. Like all of you, I have been busy as usual, but the addition of yardwork and outside activities has pulled my mind away from writing. However, I am here today, so here we go!

While I have not been inside as much as usual, I have accomplished some mental work as I have mowed, weeded, paddled, and pedaled. I have also found a little time to work on this site and create. The main things I want you to notice today are the changes in the site that I hope will streamline your experience here, and the addition of my online shop. I am working very hard to get some of my patterns ready for purchase, and classes developed for listing. In the future, there may even be some quilty and wooly items as well.

This brings me to the new class--workshop--I am facilitating on July 29th! The Color of Quilts is on the Shop page and ready for purchase. I only have 15 spots, so don't wait too long to register! This will be a 3-hour workshop where we can learn from each other and develop confidence in our fabric selections. We will work on a bit of theory and a lot of

ideas to help us use up our scraps, impulse purchases, and collections.

I am beyond excited to be facilitating this day of color work and comradery. What a great place to spend a little time with other quilters and develop a skill. All you have to bring is a 10" square or larger piece of your favorite or most frustrating fabric. I will do the rest! So head on over to the Shop page and sign up!

I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

Happy Stitches

Mary
